Naomi Osaka has news that she's "so excited" about: Alongside Billie Eilish, Timothee Chalamet and poet Amanda Gorman, Osaka has been named to co-chair the 2021 Met Gala.

"If I see Rihanna ima pass out," Osaka reacted on Twitter.

In announcing the co-chairs, Vogue called Osaka "a designer muse and one of the best-dressed athletes around," citing "the striking, colorful pieces she favors on and off the court."

The event, set to begin on Sept. 18, is themed "In America: A Lexicon of Fashion."

Additionally, Vogue editor and noted tennis enthusiast Anna Wintour will be an honorary chair.

With the US Open ending on Sept. 12, it'll likely be a busy month for the multi-Slam champion.
