Dressed in Hydrogen, the brand that previously clothed Fabio Fognini, Tomas Berdych hangs around well in a digitized camouflage look, even if it ultimately doesn't work. Were it on the shirt alone, it's a win. In spilling over to the shorts, it just becomes weird.

There's something sort of silly about the checkered choker look at the neckline that Elina Svitolina, Eugenie Bouchard and others put on for Nike. Ultimately, it's not their fault, the look just is not nearly the brand's best.

For the likes of Karolina Pliskova, Ashleigh Barty, Kiki Bertens and others, such a pink kitchen apron motif will never do.

Marin Cilic's blue Fila kit practically blends into the court, and not in a good way.

Bedecked in Izod, Bob and Mike Bryan are back in action as a brotherly tandem. Too bad that their light-blue–centric polos and shorts come off blase against the Melbourne hard courts. Same unforced error as the Cilic kit.

Fabio Fognini, now in Emporio Armani EA7 thread, sadly wears a line that seems to lack any spirit or soul; in fact, it's just plain ugly.

Venus Williams, in her own EleVen by Venus line, should avoid sporting frocks with matronly prints. For all that she gets right off-court, too many of her match outfits don't compute.
