Tweeners? Meh. They've become an almost normal part of the game since so many players—guys and girls included—have proven they can hit them.

But tweener lob winners? Only an honorable few have succeeded in the bold endeavor. One of the select shotmakers was Nick Kyrgios, who pulled it off in the midst of an intense battle with Kei Nishikori in the Madrid quarterfinals:

Here's another angle:

Roger Federer has dabbled in tweener lobs, and so has Dustin Brown. More recently, Irina Falconi hit one in Charleston.

The best part, though, is Kyrgios' cheeky grin after the hot shot. Kyrgios does whatever he wants, when he wants it, and he does it with style.

Unfortunately, you won't be seeing more from the flashy Aussie in Madrid, since he ended up losing the match to Nishikori, 6-7 (6), 7-6 (1), 6-3.
