Before the pandemic shut down the WTA Tour in March of last year, Bianca Andreescu had already been sidelined for a while. Plagued by injuries, the Canadian spent more than a year rehabbing, recovering and preparing for this season.

The world No. 6 has only competed on three occasions in 2021, but she's managed to reach the last four and final in two of the three events. Trailing 6-3, 4-0 against No. 1 seed Ashleigh Barty in the Miami Open championship match earlier this month, Andreescu was forced to retire due to a right ankle injury.

Currently she's taking some time away from the court and enjoying a mini vacation.

The 2019 US Open champion didn't disclose her destination on social media, but it's somewhere tropical and full of sunshine. Andreescu donned a mustard-colored swimsuit and was all smiles as she got a healthy dose of vitamin D on her boat escapade.

The 20-year-old's furry friend Coco was also along for the quick getaway.
