Vasek Pospisil's Rant
After dropping the first set in the Canadian's first round match against American Mackenzie McDonald, he let all his frustrations out to the chair umpire about ATP Chief Andrea Gaudenzi. Pospisil founded the PTPA last year – an independent players’ union borne of frustration at how the ATP represent them and it was clear that the world No. 67 was boiling with anger following the previous day's meeting with the ATP.
Pospisil called Gaudenzi a "F***ing a**hole," in the on-court rant.
Concerning matters at hand, I am not in Miami. However Vasek Pospišil is my good friend and I empathize with him wholeheartedly. Players on tour would agree that he is an individual of the highest integrity who cares about the well being of his fellow competitors. 1/2
