The last two majors before the Australian Open may have not gone his way, but the world No. 1 couldn't be stopped by red-hot Daniil Medvedev in Sunday's final. The Serb dominated the match from start to finish, posting a 7-5, 6-2, 6-2 score to end the Russian's 20-match winning streak and pick up his 18th major title.
Before Djokovic's triumph Down Under, Naomi Osaka managed to defeat hard-hitting American Jennifer Brady, 6-4, 6-3, to win back-to-back Slams for the second time in her career.
Both champions enjoyed taking photos with their dazzling trophies. These are the Top 5 Photos from their respective trophy photoshoots. (All photos Getty Images)
Djokovic's long walk on the beach
The 33-year-old was all smiles as he walked barefoot on Brighton Beach with the Norman Brookes Challenge Cup in his arms.
Signing for fans
Djokovic loves his fans and he greeted as many as he could during his beach photoshoot on Monday. He even grabbed a pen to sign big supporter Vanessa Kezerle's baby belly.
Selfies with Aussie photographers
Osaka resembles a character out of a Disney movie with her genuine smile and joyful personality. During the world No. 2's picture day, she quickly reversed roles and took selfies with the photographers.
Osaka also splashed open a bottle of champagne during the lively outdoor shoot at the Government House in Melbourne.
Osaka and team
"This trophy is for my team, we have spent a lot of time together during these weeks," Osaka told the Melbourne crowd following her straight-set victory over talented Brady in the final. The now four-time major champion ensured to grab a photo with her team members.
