Naomi Osaka started slowly by dropping the first two games, but reeled off the next five to take control of her clash with Serena Williams. The 23-year-old hit double the winners Serena did, and regularly served over 120 mph in a 6-3, 6-4 over her idol. For aspiring tennis stars, check out Osaka's incredible extension into the court.

Serena Williams packed up to leave the court quickly, but paused long enough to put her hand over her heart and soak in the moment in front of her fans. Her farewell felt ominous, and fans can't help but wonder if Serena will ever return to Rod Laver Arena.

Jennifer Brady was literally floored when Karolina Muchova's final ball sailed long, sending the former UCLA standout to her first ever Grand Slam final.

When a reporter pointed out that "there's no telling how much longer Serena will play," Osaka had this to say: I don't know, it's kind of sad when you say it like that because for me, I want her to play forever. That's the little kid in me."

Osaka and Brady will meet late Friday night in the U.S. They last faced off in the 2020 US Open semifinals with Osaka winning in three sets.
