The quarterfinals are set at the Australian Open. Players will need to win once more in order to play in front of fans if the Melbourne lockdown lifts as scheduled on Wednesday.

These are the Top 5 Photos for Monday.

Rafael Nadal cruised into the quarterfinals against a familiar foe, Fabio Fognini, 6-3, 6-4, 6-2. The world No. 2 is three matches away from a record-setting 21st Grand Slam and takes on Stefanos Tsitsipas next.

Jessica Pegula made her first Top-10 win count by upsetting Elina Svitolina to reach her first Grand Slam quarterfinal. Pegula was hoping she'd meet her friend Jennifer Brady and her wish came true when Brady eased past Donna Vekic.

Daniil Medvedev had no trouble with former Bruin Mackenzie McDonald, winning 6-4, 6-2, 6-3. The Russian is on an 18-match win streak and his compatriot Andrey Rublev will try to stop him in the quarterfinals.

Top seed Ashleigh Barty cruised onward with a 6-3, 6-4 win over Shelby Rogers. Barty is attempting to become the first Australian to win the title in Melbourne since Chris O'Neil in 1978.

Czech Karolina Muchova is enjoying an excellent Grand Slam performance in Melbourne. She topped No. 18 seed Elise Mertens in straight sets and will look to challenge Barty for a place in her first-ever major semifinal.
