In Melbourne this week, Venus Williams rolled her ankle in her second-round loss to Sara Errani. The injury happened in the opening set, but she would fight through the pain to finish the match.

Despite it all, her spirits are still through the roof.

"You can't always prepare yourself for triumph or disaster in sports or in life," Venus wrote. "You can't control it at all. What you can control is how you handle the ups and downs.'

The 40-year-old isn't allowing the loss to ruin her time Down Under as she appears to be having a blast alongside sister Serena and Serena's hitting partner Jarmere Jenkins. In an Instagram Story video, the world No. 81 calls out her coach Eric Hechtman and says he has been replaced by Jenkins as the driver.

"By a much calmer individual," Serena said.

Venus said that Jenkins has not destroyed any private property or vehicles, and hasn't hit any walls. But in the following video, Jenkins hits a curb and it doesn't go unnoticed.

"Had the first traffic offense, Jarmere has hit a curb," Venus said. "I am wearing a seatbelt, but I'm simply terrified about the incident."

The jokes didn't stop there, Venus continued to mess around in the car and called out Serena's agent Jill Smoller.

While Venus is recovering and out of the major, Serena is set to take the court next for her round of 16 match against Aryna Sabalenka. It'll be their first career encounter.
