Jessica Pegula Comes Back

Down 2-5 in the opening set against two-time major champion Victoria Azarenka, Pegula would save a set point en route to claiming five consecutive games to take the set 7-5. Azarenka struggled with her breathing towards the end of the first-round bout and needed a medical timeout.

In the end, Pegula captured her biggest win over the Belarusian, 7-5, 6-4. She will take on Samantha Stosur next.

Novak Djokovic Sits in the Stands

Here's a sight you usually don't see: A world No. 1 was spotted in the stands cheering on a friend. Djokovic came out to support countryman Filip Krajinovic in his opening round win over Robin Haase. With the event allowing only half capacity, it leaves a lot of room for players to sit and watch matches comfortably.
