It's officially beginning: players have touched down in Australia for their two-week quarantine period. The top names are in Adelaide while most of the Australian Open field will be in Melbourne.

These are the Top 5 photos for Thursday.

Novak Djokovic

The world No. 1 arrived in Adelaide for a special quarantine bubble featuring the Top 6 men and women and their respective practice partners. He'll be a huge favorite Down Under having won eight of his 17 career Grand Slam titles inside Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne.

Serena Williams

Serena Williams flew to Adelaide with her sister Venus (who will be her practice partner), her husband Alexis Ohanian and her daughter Olympia. Like any good-natured toddler, the three-year-old rode out of the airport in style on a rollaway bag.

Matteo Berrettini

The Italian joined a star-studded line of players checking in for flights to Melbourne including Gael Monfils, Stefanos Tsitsipas and Borna Coric. Berrettini got a few matches under his belt in Antalya where he reached the quarterfinals.

Stan Wawrinka

The Swiss will join the Melbourne bubble as he gears up for his first tournament since the ATP Masters 1000 in Paris in November. He won the Australian Open for his first Grand Slam title back in 2014.

Charter Flights

Players and officials arrived on chartered flights from a few select cities around the world to Melbourne for a 14-day quarantine in three hotels. They will be tested and allowed to leave their hotel rooms for five hours a day for working out and practice.
