Aryna Sabalenka is shaping up to be a dark horse for the Australian Open title. On Wednesday, the Belarusian captured her third straight title with a dominate 6-2, 6-2 victory over Veronika Kudermetova in the Abu Dhabi final.

This win extends Sabalenka's streak to 15 wins, which includes tournament wins in Ostrava and Linz at the end 2020. She has not lost since the third round of the French Open in October.

Sabalenka looked happy after winning the title, jumping with joy with her team on Instagram. It marks the 22-year-old's ninth career WTA trophy.

She is ranked No. 10 in the world but will rise to No. 7 as she flies to join the Melbourne bubble.
