Even though she's just 16 year old, in her very new professional career Coco Gauff has displayed that she can not only play with the best, but beat them, too.

Gauff made major noise when she rallied her way through Wimbledon's 2019 qualifying draw and defeated her idol Venus Williams in her first career Grand Slam main round.

Since then, the American teenager has accomplished even more. At 15, she became the youngest singles title-holder on the WTA Tour since 2004 when she won the Linz title in 2019.

Age: 16 (March 13, 2004)

What she did in 2020: She kicked off the 2020 season by reaching yet another major round of 16, at the Australian Open, complete with an upset of Naomi Osaka. Following the tour re-opening at the Top Seed Open, she reached the semifinal, falling to eventual winner Jennifer Brady. Gauff also secured a year-end Top 50 spot in the rankings for the first time.

Skill Highlights: Gauff's movement and physical endurance on the court has proven to be a weapon. She's able to stay in the long points and use her consistency and mental toughness to pick apart her opponents.

Career Highlights: Gauff is currently the youngest player within the WTA's Top 100 and has wins over Venus Williams and Osaka. She won her first WTA title in 2019 and that year, she also won two WTA doubles titles with Caty McNally. The pair reached the quarterfinals of the Australian Open in January.
