Dayana Yastremska broke out in a big way during the 2019 season when she won two WTA titles. But 2020 was especially hard for the Ukrainian, who, in addition to an ill-advised racial equality post, split up with her coach Sascha Bajin after an early US Open exit. Excluding a promising January trip to the Adelaide final, she failed to win three consecutive matches during the season.
While she'd finished the year with a disappointing 15-12 record, she still has so much potential and there's no reason 2021 can't prove lucrative for her.
