Baseline is looking ahead to the new year by showcasing 21 players under 21 to watch out for in '21. To make the coveted list, players must be born in 2000 or later.

Sebastian Korda put himself on the radar in 2018, when he won the Australian Open junior title, and 2020 was the year he broke through at the pro level, making the most of sparse opportunities to raise his ranking by 131 spots.

At Roland Garros, he won six total matches, coming through qualifying and then collecting three main-draw victories, including one over John Isner. (Rafael Nadal beat Korda in the round of 16.)

Korda kept the momentum going in November at the ATP Challenger in Eckental, Germany where he picked up his first professional title. He'll enter 2021 on a hot streak, having won 13 of his past 15 matches.
