Carla Suarez Navarro was diagnosed with Hodgkin Lymphoma in early September. She would be forced to withdraw from the US Open and begin six months of chemotherapy treatments.

Although it was horrific news, the Spaniard remained upbeat and she's not losing the smile from her face.

Over the weekend, the Spaniard posted an inspiring video of herself hitting with friend and 2012 Roland Garros finalist Sara Errani. The video is the first time fans have seen Suarez Navarro on the court since February, when she fell to Petra Kvitova in Doha's second round.

Over the past few months, the world No. 83 has been updating followers with her on-going treatments and progress. The 32-year-old is still getting outdoors, cycling and even lifting weights.

"It's important that we remain active and optimistic. The body always appreciates it," Suarez Navarro wrote on Instagram.

December marks Suarez Navarro's fourth month of treatment, and just as she does on the court, she will continue to fight until the match against cancer is won.
