Are you looking for more power without sacrificing accuracy and consistency on your serve? Tennis coach Jim McLennan offers up a solution by looking back at all-time great Pete Sampras.

The 14-time Grand Slam champion had one of the rarest service motions in all of tennis, but it was also the deadliest. Sampras' included what is called an "Inverted V," which can be seen all over his photo archive. His service motion was less about the snap of the wrist and more focused on the forearm. Give it a try, "you might just serve up an ace like pistol Pete," McLennan says.
