Monfils, Murray wrap up ATP Finals series with Medvedev

Gael Monfils and Andy Murray served up a spectacular week of content for tennis fans across the globe via the Frenchman's Twitch account.The two notable players talked about all things ATP Finals, and more, all week long on the online streaming service.

The Frenchman and the Scot wrapped up their series with none other than the ATP Finals champion himself, Daniil Medvedev.

"I was watching the highlights of your show, but I didn't know I'd be here tonight," Medvedev said to Monfils and Murray. "Look what I have."

The world No. 4's journey to capturing the prestigious year-end championship was not easy as he had to defeat the Top 3 players en route, making him the first player to accomplish the feat in 13 years.

Murray quickly dived into a question that had been buzzing in his brain.

"Dominic missed the return and he [Medvedev] didn't react, he didn't do anything," Murray said laughingly. "Like I was expecting something and then even after the match it went into the crowd to show your coach and he looked like he didn't give a shit. Like you just won the first round of a future. Like what's going on here guys?"

Medvedev responded, "My coach can have emotions, but I think they turned the camera when it was the wrong moment. But also, when I don't show emotions it's tough for him. He's alone there and he will not be screaming alone."

The Russian said it was a special moment for him and his calm reaction was not in anyway intended to come off as cocky. Although, he didn't fall to the ground or celebrate too much on the court, Medvedev said he is the "happiest man in the world."

"Today was probably the best victory of my life. Not in terms of the title but in terms of the match because to beat Dominic when he's playing like this is really tough," Medvedev said. "I think he actually likes the way I play, so it was really tough mentally and I'm just the happiest man in the world at this moment."

Monfils and Murray would bid adieu to Medvedev and take a few fan questions before signing off from the week-long series.
