Sabalenka has definitely justified her top seeding in Linz. The Belarusian came into this week's event having won Ostrava with wins over Coco Gauff, Jennifer Brady and Victoria Azarenka. On Thursday, she kept the heat coming against Stefanie Vogele, posting a 6-0, 6-3 victory to advance to the quarterfinals.

Vasek Pospisil

The 30-year-old Canadian is now just two wins away from capturing his first ATP title. Pospisil had another great day at the office when he defeated No. 6 seed John Millman, 6-3, 6-2, to advance into Sofia's last four. The world No. 74 will look to roll past Frenchman Richard Gasquet next.

The Russian had a little bit more of a challenge than her first round match, in which she dominated hometown favorite Barbara Haas 6-0, 6-0. Although her second-round clash against Arantxa Rus presented some conflicts, Kudermetova came out on top with a 6-4, 1-6, 6-3 victory to keep her season rolling.

This year's Roland Garros semifinalist was down a set, but kicked into another gear to ultimately take down 2018 Linz champion Camila Giorgi. After two hours and 34 minutes, the Argentine posted a 6-7 (4), 6-1, 6-4 score to set up a quarterfinal matchup against No. 4 seed Ekaterina Alexandrova.
