Baseline is looking ahead to the new year by showcasing 21 players under 21 to watch out for in '21. To make the coveted list, players must be born in 2000 or later.

Though she hasn't played a match since the WTA Finals in 2019, Bianca Andreescu is still a Top-10 threat for any title. As a teenager, she burst onto the scene in 2019 by winning Indian Wells as a wild card entry. She seemed virtually unbeatable for most of the year. But now, the 20-year-old has been training hard in Dubai and has said she 100 percent plans to play the Australian Open. Though it will be a challenge to be thrown right back into the mix, you can't count the crafty, talented Canadian out.

Ranking: No. 7

Age: 20 (June 16, 2000)

What she did in 2020: Due to a knee injury and the tour shutdown, she did not compete.
