A group of talented Americans stepped up to the plate around the world, including Ostrava, Antwerp, and Georgia. Here are the top American movers and shakers as the tours head into their final tournaments of the year:

1

Champion, Macon (ITF)

It's been a tough couple of years for CiCi Bellis. An intense arm and elbow injury nearly forced her into an early retirement, but the 21-year-old came back in 2020. On Sunday, she earned her first seventh career ITF title in Macon, Georgia by defeating Marta Kostyuk in the final via a third-set retirement. It marked the world No. 141's first trophy since 2016.

Quarterfinalist, Antwerp (ATP 250)

Marcos Giron had one of the best runs in his career by reaching the quarterfinals of the European Cup. He defeated No. 6 seed Yasutaka Uchiyama and No. 1 seed David Goffin along the way before losing to eventual finalist Alex de Minaur. Giron now jumps up eight spots in the rankings to reach a career-high spot of world No. 86.

3

Semifinalist, Ostrava (WTA Premier)

It's been a strong year for Brady, having reached the semifinals of the US Open before losing to Naomi Osaka. The 25-year-old hoped to take that momentum through to the rest of the year, and she showed up big at the Ostrava Open. Reaching the semifinals before losing to eventual champion Aryna Sabalenka, Brady showed why she is one of the best Americans on tour right now.

Semifinalist, Macon (ITF)

It was a strong run for Lepchenko in Macon, taking down two seeded players along the way to the semifinals (Mayo Hibi and Nina Stojanovic). Lepchenko couldn't overcome an injury and had to withdraw from the semifinals against Bellis during the second set. Still, it was one of her best ITF performances this year.
