Women's tennis has been as exciting as it has been unpredictable, especially at the majors. And no storyline has been more unexpected than recent Roland Garros winner, Iga Swiatek. The 19-year-old blew through the draw unseeded without dropping a single set, defeating Sofia Kenin in the final.

In her (so far) short career, Swiatek had not won a single WTA title before claiming her maiden major, but that doesn't mean she had little experience. Junior Grand Slam and ITF tour success was just the beginning of what is sure to be a lengthy career.
