Garbine Muguruza didn't have her best showing at this year's unusual Roland Garros, but the Spaniard quickly put her tough third round loss to Danielle Collins behind her and got back to enjoying life.

"Life is too big to play small," the two-time major champion's Instagram bio reads, and it appears Muguruza is living life that way as she celebrated her 27th birthday.

Five days ago, Muguruza was all smiles as she poured up two glasses of red wine in celebration of her special day. The birthday festivities didn't just last one day, but extended throughout the weekend.

The world No. 12 enjoyed a nice dinner with friends in Geneva and indulged in copious amounts of ice cream cake.

"A year wiser and double cheers to that," Muguruza wrote.

The former world No. 1 already has two Grand Slams under her belt, and was on the verge of grabbing another earlier this year in Australia, but fell to Sofia Kenin in the final.

For now, Muguruza is enjoying the little moments and is currently on a spontaneous road trip.

With only two WTA events scheduled for the remainder of the year, Muguruza seems to be having fun away from the court. She is currently not entered in the WTA Premier event in Ostrava next week.
