Paris is truly a beautiful experience at any time of the year, but with players bunkered down on-site and at the hotel, their options for entertainment, tourism and fine dining are nonexistent. Still, they all have their preferences, so they voiced them for a game of "This or That" with Tennis Channel.

Amanda Anismova was quick and concise with her choices.

The only question that broke her concentration was "french fries or escargot?" Surely, everyone would prefer crispy, deep fried potatoes to...snails, even though they are a delicacy in France.

Danielle Collins was a more hesitant with her answers. She said, "Neither, I do gluten-free" to "baguette or croissant?", but answered crepe over macarons, with the latter being the naturally gluten-free option. In her defense, you absolutely can make crepes gluten-free.

Notice how both players were good with being in Paris in the fall. That's refreshing to hear given all the complaints that have come in about the cold, wet and dark conditions this week.

Both have big challenges to tackle on Friday at Roland Garros with Anisimova up against No. 1 seed Simona halep and Collins taking on No. 11 seed Garbine Muguruza.
