Nineteen-year-old Next Gen ATP Finals champion Jannik Sinner made his Roland Garros debut with success and style on Sunday.

In addition to beating David Goffin, 7-5, 6-0, 6-3, Sinner hit not one but two Shots of the Day.

For the one chosen by Tennis Channel, the teenager was forced far into the backhand corner by Goffin, but he then blasted the ball around the net at an angle too perfect for Goffin retrieve:

The Roland Garros YouTube channel, though, chose its own Shot of the Day—and the tournament picked yet another gem from Sinner's closing set: a spinning backhand-pickup drop shot.

Sinner goes from beating the No. 11 seed to facing a qualifier in Round 2; he next takes on Frenchman Benjamin Bonzi.
