Some players are not thrilled with the unfavorable weather at this year's Roland Garros.

The clay court major was moved from June, all the way to the tail-end of September. While that gave the tournament organizers time to make a protected space from COVID-19, it did bring an unexpected consequence; cold weather.

On Sunday, temperatures hit eight degrees Celsius (46.4 degrees Fahrenheit), causing light percipitation that put a stop to matches. The chilly temperatures also affects play, making the tennis balls heavier, creating slower conditions. While majority of the players are just happy to be back on the court, some are less than thrilled about the conditions.

Victoria Azarenka, playing against Danka Kovinic in the first round, refused to wait outside for play to continue."I'm not going to sit here because I'm going to get frozen," she told the supervisor.
