Despite New York  City one of the early U.S. hotspots for COVID-19, the US Open was given the green light to move forward. Despite a few notable players missing from the tournament and one testing positive, the Grand Slam has been a success overall.

New rules and protocols from the USTA have been in effect since the tournament's start with things like behavior monitoring, contact tracing, mask wearing and regular testing are just the start.
