Naomi Osama is back in New York and embracing the new normal. The world No. 10 is going to be seeded an expected No. 4 at the US Open after all of the withdrawals from top players.

With the Western & Southern Open moving to Flushing Meadows, the 22-year-old gets extra time to be reacquainted with Arthur Ashe Stadium. On Instagram Stories she revealed that her suite neighbor is Stefanos Tsitsipas (with no fans, the suites have been turned into seeded-player private lounges).

The Japanese superstar was recently featured in a report by Forbes of the ten highest-paid female athletes on the planet. With a record-setting $37.4 million she leads the Top 10, just ahead of Serena Williams.

All but $3.4 million of Osaka's earnings from June 2019-June 2020 are from her many lucrative sponsors and endorsements. She added a new collaboration this week with Soto Sake.

In 2018, Osaka beat Serena in the US Open final for her first Grand Slam trophy. Last year, she would lose in the fourth round to eventual semifinalist Belinda Bencic.

While many of her New York colleagues have played exhibitions or a tournament in the past two weeks, Osaka hasn't competed since Fed Cup in February. The draw for "Cincinnati" will be unveiled on Thursday.
