Svitolina targets Monfils with tennis ball fury

Monday mood, indeed. Gael Monfils was the target of Elina Svitolina's mood as she simply said "not feeling it today" and proceeded to smash tennis balls at him.

The Ukrainian's aim was perfect, even though a few looked very close. Her boyfriend remained calm, cool and collected throughout the onslaught, staring at his phone for most of it. It does make you wonder: Was this video successful on their first try?

The couple had been posting a lot of fun, vacation photos from a spontaneous boating trip, and it's clear that they really prefer the weekend to Monday's.

As you might have deduced from the red clay court they are practicing on, Monfils and Svitolina are skipping New York this year and will start their 2020 seasons up again in Europe.
