With rain hindering play on Monday, most of the players and staff in Prague endured a long day of waiting. The slow day made the debut of "Scooter Man" all the more entertaining. He took to the electronic wheel for an innovative new way of sweeping a clay court.

Only one main-draw match was completed on Monday and it saw Eugenie Bouchard knock out No. 8 seed Veronika Kudermetova, 6-0, 6-3.

Bouchard, like all the players in Prague, is thrilled to finally be back on court.

Winning was an added bonus, of course, as the Canadian looks to raise her ranking up from No. 330. The top seed in Prague is Simona Halep followed by Petra Martic and Elise Mertens.
