As the first WTA tournament of the reopen tour carries on this week in Palermo, organizers in Kentucky and Prague are welcoming players for next week's events.

World No. 2 Simona Halep has arrived in Prague, where she will be the top seed.

It's the first event she's playing since Dubai in February. The rest of the field includes the likes of Petra Martic, Elena Rybakina, Marketa Vondrousova, Maria Sakkari, Karolina Muchova, Barbora Strycova and Katerina Siniakova.

Canada's Eugenie Bouchard will be competing thanks to a wild card. Belinda Bencic was scheduled to play but withdraw and is being replaced by Alize Cornet.

Main-draw action in Prague begins on Monday.
