Wawrinka produces film; soon to be released

If you follow Stan Wawrinka on Instagram, you already know that the three-time major champion has a love for filming, editing and storytelling.

With all of the extra time on his hands, due to the coronavirus putting a hold on tennis, Wawrinka has really been in touch with his creative side—from putting together short visuals of him cooking in his backyard, to his hilarious birthday video.

However, Wawrinka's passion for storytelling doesn't end at his captivating internet videos. The world No. 17 has also been producing a film.

The 35-year-old teamed up with one of his good friends Kev Adams, a French comedian, screenwriter and producer.

"This year I launched a new challenge, that of producing a film," Wawrinka wrote on his latest Instagram post.

The Swiss posted a few photos of himself on set getting his hair and makeup done, and hanging out with the film crew.

"So much kindness from the whole team, allowed me to live an incredible day," Wawrinka said.

Wawrinka didn't announce any specific dates for when the film will be released but did say it's coming soon.
