Team Kindness' Sloane Stephens and Amanda Anisimova continued their doubles action against Eugenie Bouchard and Danielle Collins. The Americans dropped the the first set to Team Peace before the match was cut short due to rain, but on Thursday they rallied back to post 4-6, 7-6 (5), 10-7.

"That was up and down," Keys said to Tennis Channel following her shaky win against Team Peace's Caroline Dolehide. The 2017 US Open finalist managed to squeeze past Dolehide 6-1, 6-7 (6), 10-4 on Thursday to get a point on the board for Team Kindness.

Eugenie Bouchard had a rough 2019; falling in 13 consecutive first-round matches. But she started the 2020 season on a different note as she defeated World No. 43 Carolina Garcia and Kirstin Flipkens in Auckland. In Charleston, she maintained that same footing and defeated Team Kindness' Leylah Fernandez 6-4, 6-3.

Beijing champions Bethanie Mattek-Sands and Sofia Kenin closed out a late evening with a 6-2, 1-6, 10-7 win over Team Kindness' Madison Keys and Victoria Azarenka. Mattek-Sands and Kenin peaced out by giving their team an 8-6 lead going into Friday.
