It's GOAT debates like these that make everything seem almost normal again in the tennis world. In a virtual roundtable, Pat Cash fired out some strong opinions while chatting with author Steve Flink and Ubitennis' Ubaldo Scanagatta.

The retired Aussie covered a ton of topics about his own playing days and commented on history's greatest stars. He would call Roger Federer "an amazing talent who could be world No. 1 in any time," but said that in the current era, "he's not even the second greatest of all time."

"It's just hard to go past the reality of head-to-head wins," Cash said.

And in that particular stat, Cash is right: Federer is 16-24 against Rafael Nadal and 23-27 against Novak Djokovic.

"If you're the best of all time, you need to at least have the better head-to-head record against your own rival or No. 2 rival, surely," Cash said.

Don't take your pitchforks out quite yet. Cash still had excellent things to say about the 20-time Grand Slam champion.

"As a shot-maker, he's the greatest I've ever seen," Cash said. "In shot-making and movement and everything else... It's phenomenal that he has got the record that he has."

No matter what your opinion is on this, one thing is for sure: The race for GOAT is not over just yet.
