Emotions were pouring out along with the wine on Saturday night for Nick Kyrgios as he chatted in front of thousands of Instagram Live viewers with his pal, Andy Murray.

"How many glasses of wine have you had?" Murray asked.

"I've had as many games as you gave me at Wimbledon that year, which is about six," Kyrgios said, as he laughed uncontrollably.

The Aussie might have shorted himself on the games he claimed against Murray in their 2016 Wimbledon round of 16 clash, but there was no shortage of entertainment during theirInstagram Live.

Kyrgios began asking Murray questions, which led to Kyrgios stirring up some controversy as he sipped on a glass of red wine.

"I don't want to make this controversial, but I think you're better than [Novak] Djokovic in my opinion," Kyrgios said. "But people are going to take this on social media and be like Djokovic won this many Slams, and I'm like Djokovic is playing dodgeball on my serve. He couldn't return it.  And you're like nah, I'm slapping this for a winner."

"Well, the results would probably suggest otherwise, don't you think?" Murray said.

"The real ones know. Djokovic wrapped it up in dodgeball gear and he was trying to dodge my serve the last two times I played him. But you were on it like a light. I couldn't get it past you," Kyrgios said.

But the love and admiration might not stop at online banter: they might unite on the doubles court.

"Give the people what they want, play for the crowd a little. All people want is Keegs and Muzz, give the people what they want," Kyrgios said.

"We played well in IPTL didn't we?" Murray said, referring to the now-defunct International Premier Tennis League.

"You're a living legend man," Kyrgios said "Look from a fan and for someone who played, I don't really care about Djokovic, [Rafael] Nadal or [Roger] Federer. We love you. Ordinary people like us love you."

"Well maybe we can tee up once together, let's tee it up and only if you promise to behave, which you said you were going to before we did the Instagram Live," Murray said, about teaming up.

Kyrgios did let some more "we love you's" fly out and assured Murray he wasn't drunk despite many fans asking the question. He said he was simply just excited.

Before ending the 15-minute video, Murray asked Kyrgios why he gets so emotionally invested in the Laver Cup.

"Because it's fun, because my best buds are there trying to beat some European guys who have no banter," Kyrgios said.

Murray attempted to interject but Kyrgios got on a roll.

"Do you think me and my boy Dominic Thiem would vibe?" Kyrgios said. "No, I'm more invested in maybe a nice cocktail, but my boy DT would be like I want to see this paint dry."

Murray seemed a little lost for words, but all in all, the chat between the two was highly entertaining and 100 percent genuine and authentic, which the viewers seemed to appreciate.

"It's good to see you though," Kyrgios said near the end. "You look handsome as hell."
