WATCH: Sock reacts to Pospisil's Instagram prank

Jack Sock was one of the many victims that fell for Vasek Pospisil’s prank last week when he took over the ATP’s Instagram account. Pospisil dropped into the direct messages of some big names, including Roger Federer, and had some fun with Sock.

“The media team would love to come to the wedding if any room left. Any chance?” Pospisil wrote as the ATP.

“We’d love that but let me talk to Laura and see where our numbers are at,” Sock replied. He got engaged to Laura Little in December.

“Ok thank you!” Pospisil added. “Also, hate to do this but we noticed a lot of posts with you and Laura together which is great for sure but please consider that a lot of your followers are tennis fans. Just want to make sure we keep things more focused on tennis. Would be appreciated.

"Let us know about the wedding!”

In Friday's episode of Tennis United, Pospisil and his co-host Bethanie Mattek-Sands called up Sock to get his reaction to that particularly targeted message.

“I was fuming,” Sock said. “I was like how can the ATP tell me what to post and what to not post? And we’re about to get married, this is about to be my wife.”

Little even made a cameo during the interview, and both took the joke well after realizing it was just Pospisil having some fun. On a more serious note, Sock also talked about how his comeback season is on hold due to the coronavirus pandemic.

“I was very hungry, very excited. I think it showed in those last couple tournaments I played, or the only tournaments I played,” he said. “I feel like I was actually getting my form back and felt more like my old self a little bit.”

He had won his first ATP match in 16 months in Delray, and then reached the final of the Oracle Challenger Series in Indian Wells.

Sock was also planning on a comeback on the doubles court with Pospisil. The two teased a return at Indian Wells, but may have jumped the gun as they hadn’t even gotten a wild card yet. Sock has had great success with both Tennis United hosts, having won Wimbledon with Pospisil in 2014 (as well as Indian Wells in 2015) and the gold medal in Rio with Mattek-Sands in 2016.

While he didn’t answer who is his preferred partner, he did unveil the secret to all their success together: Keeping it light and fun, and talking about anything but tennis.
