Have no fear, Jamie Murray and Monica Puig are here, and they’ve got the answers to all your burning questions. From tennis to travel advice, and everything in between, Puig and Murray got together (at Indian Wells, pre-shutdown) to answer it all.

Q:  What advice would you give to parents of promising junior players?

Puig: “Let the children enjoy it as much as possible.”

Murray: "Kids do what they like doing, the more you push them the more likely they are to rebel and push back.”

Q:  What’s your favorite surface to play on?

Murray: "I like playing on grass but it’s only like three tournaments a year. My best results come on outdoor hard court, that’s where I look to make my money.”

Q: What’s been the most unexpected part of filming My Tennis Life so far?

Puig: "Trying to decide what content I want people to see."

Murray: "I just send everything I have and let them (Tennis Channel) edit it.

Q: If you could take your co-star to your hometown, what would you do?

Murray: “There’s not much to do in my hometown (Dunblane), we’ve got four tennis courts and a golf course and that’s about it.”

Puig: “Go to Puerto Rico and show you around Old San Juan. There’s so much history, all the restaurants are family owned, it’s pretty much like having a home cooked meal at every restaurant.”

Before the coronavirus pandemic shut the tours down, Puig was looking forward to her first match of 2020 following right elbow surgery, and Murray was ranked No. 26 in the doubles rankings.
