While the tennis world's hope for a regular tennis season continues to dissipate, Ana Ivanovic's fight against the coronavirus is growing and giving many the support and help they need.

Alongside Roger Federer, who donated 1 millon francs to the Swiss people, other tennis players are joining in on the fight against the virus. Ivanovic, the current National Ambassador for UNICEF, is helping out in her own way. The Grand Slam champion is donating 35 respirators to Serbia.

Respirators, hygiene kits and protective gear, worth more than $500,000 have been ordered to aid the government of the Republic of Serbia. Ivanovic along with regular donors were able to add 35 respirators to bring the total to 85.

UNICEF's main goal is to react fast in times of emergency, and that is exactly what is being done in Serbia to help protect families and children from the rapid spread of COVID-19. The first delivery of personal protective gear, which includes goggles, gloves and more, is set to deliver this week.
