With the coronavirus pandemic halting normal life around the globe, players are finding themselves with an unexpected amount of free time. The WTA, ATP and ITF tours, local gyms and even tennis centers are closed.

Like many players, Bianca Andreescu is trying to self-isolate to stay safe and do her part to contain the spread of the virus. She has taken this chance to finally watch herself play.

The 19-year-old was watching her 2019 US Open quarterfinal win over Elise Mertens on TSN. She would go on to stun Serena Williams in the final to make history and claim her first Grand Slam title.

Andreescu will now have even more time to rehab her knee, which has kept her off the tour since the WTA Finals in October.

Some players are having a harder time of it, as Yaroslava Shvedova was placed under government quarantine in Kazakstan when someone on her flight tested positive for the virus. She has since tested negative. In Miami, Bernard Tomic says he is displaying symptoms but has yet to be tested.

Andreescu was the defending champion in Indian Wells, but had withdrawn before the tournament was called off.
