Here's one for lovers of all things Venus Williams: The seven-time Slam champion is making a special appearance on the wrapper of a limited-edition Clif Bar—"Crunchy Peanut Butter," to be specific.
While supplies last, the regular rock-climber mascot is being replaced by six "trailblazer" women athletes: Venus, soccer star Megan Rapinoe, climber Ashima Shiraishi, skateboarder Jordyn Barratt, surfer Lakey Peterson and mountain biker Katerina Nash.
“This is the perfect example of women supporting each other and celebrating their successes in sports, in business, and in life," Williams said in a news release. "From an early age I have always been mindful about what I put into my body, so I love that I can grab a CLIF BAR ... to sustain my energy levels for practice, training and everything I want to accomplish each day.”
