Novak Djokovic had little trouble subduing Stefanos Tsitsipas, 6-3, 6-4, earn his fifth Dubai title. The win marks the Serb’s 79th career title, and his second of the season.

Aryna Sabalenka handled the challenge from 2018 champion Petra Kvitova, 6-3, 6-3, at the Qatar Total Open to capture her third Premier 5 title, her sixth career WTA title. Kvitova had won 10 straight matches in Doha.

Hsieh Su-wei and Barbora Strycova continued their hot streak in Doha to claim the doubles trophy with a 6-2, 5-7, 10-2 over Jelena Ostapenko and Gabriela Dabrowski. It was the pair’s second straight title in as many weeks, having won Dubai seven days ago.
