Roger Federer has the Fedfans. Serena Williams has Rena's Army. Rising star Stefanos Tsitsipas, though, is going for a fan-group name that's a little less intense.

"I found one!" he said in his on-court interview after his semifinal win over Dan Evans in Dubai on Friday, smiling like a little kid. "Tsitsi-pals."

(His decision didn't seem entirely final.)

But that wasn't all the fun he'd have with his post-match obligations. During Tsitsipas' press conference, his mom, Julia Salnikova, got back at him for an earlier comment (that his parents were "way too involved in my life")—by coming in and pretending to be a reporter:

In other Dubai shenanigans, Tsitsipas also tried his hand at being one of the tournament's famous mascots, which was more difficult than it might seem:

The event has become a bit of a home for him over the years, as this is his second Dubai final in a row. On Saturday, Tsitsipas takes on Novak Djokovic in the championship match. But the Tsitsi-pals will already know that.
