Living her best life in Acapulco, Mexico, whilst in that city to play in its WTA tournament, Venus Williams took to some semi-spontaneous dancing at a nightspot.

In a remarkable clip lasting more than two minutes, Venus relishes in the eatery's alfresco setting, sporting a maxi dress and sometimes accompanied by the venue's support staff as she made moves.

That's Venus. Sometimes it seems she's one of us.

As the No. 64–ranked wild card, Williams wasn't so much enjoying her opening match, dropping an unexpected upset to No. 125–ranked qualifier Kaja Juvan. Astoundingly, Williams wielded seven match points when up 6-4, 5-4, 40-love (and beyond). Juvan saved them all in that single game, took a 7-4 tiebreak, and rattled off six of the eight games in the final set to take a 6-2 decider.

Juvan had once taken Venus' sister Serena to a third set at Wimbledon. This time, facing off against another titan of the House of Williams, she did not blink.
