She's a 23-time Grand Slam champion, and held the world No. 1 ranking for 186 consecutive weeks, but she's also a working mom.
Serena Williams might seem perfect, but the 38-year-old has had her fair share of struggles and most recently she got real with her 12 million followers on Instagram.
I am not sure who took this picture but Working and being a mom is not easy. I am often exhausted, stressed, and then I go play a professional tennis match. We keep going. I am so proud and inspired by the women who do it day in and day out. I’m proud to be this baby’s mama @olympiaohanian. #nofilter #nomakeup #nohairbursh lol #justme

In 2017, Serena won the Australian Open while pregnant with her daughter, Alexis Olympia Jr. Serena has jumped over high hurdles, but both being a professional athlete and a mom might be the ultimate challenge.
This week, Serena also shared a video about missing Olympia's first steps (in an ad partnership with Pampers). At first, she was heartbroken after receiving the video while she was away from the house training for a tournament, but the support of other moms made her feel better.
Like any mom, Serena also proudly posts about her daughter's antics, including a recent adorable snap of the two-year-old running around in her swimsuit.
On court, Serena lifted her first title since 2017 and her first as a mother last month in Auckland.
She most recently appeared in Fed Cup action against Latvia earlier this month, splitting her two singles matches.
