The Fed Cup is underway for the 2020 season with countries competing in the qualifiers and first rounds over the weekend. Last year saw France win their third title by defeating an Ashleigh Barty-led Australian team.
Many top stars are taking part including Serena Williams, Naomi Osaka, Belinda Bencic, Elise Mertens and recent Australian Open champion Sofia Kenin. The World Group Finals will take place in Budapest in April.
The U.S. team is getting a lot of attention thanks to its loaded team. They're up 2-0 against Latvia after wins from Kenin and Serena on Friday night in Everett, Wash.
