John Isner is Auckland getting ready to face off against fellow American and former SEC standout Tennys Sandgren, but he should probably be in Las Vegas instead.

Last night, before the BCS National Championship game between Clemson and LSU, Isner prognosticated a 41-24 LSU victory. The final score? LSU 42, Clemson 25.

Predicting a scoreline with that kind of accuracy can make you a fortune if you're a betting man. Isner, a former Georgia Bulldog and avid college football fan, undoubtedly benefitted from his familiarity with LSU, or he just got lucky. Probably a little of both.
