"Prove" it: Konta to test skills on Great British Bake Off

Does Johanna Konta have the skills to serve up a lovely bake and prove her dough, or will she double fault by producing a soggy bottom?

The three-time major semifinalist will get the ultimate shot to put her hobby to the test on the upcoming edition of the Great British Bake Off in support of Stand Up for Cancer. Twenty celebrities are slated to take over the infamous tent in a five-part series, with four per episode whisking together their most tasty and charming creations in a head-to-head battle.

Among the additional participants include Oscar winner Richard Dreyfus and singer-songwriter James Blunt. The competition will feature its celebrated three-part challenge: The Signature, The Technical and The Showstopper to determine who earns the coveted title of Star Baker.
