Fans of Juan Martin del Potro have had to live off of his rehab and vacation photos for the past six months. The 31-year-old hasn't competed since Queen's Club in June, having re-fracturing his right kneecap.

He underwent surgery, and started working towards a comeback, despite some uncertainty of if he would ever compete again.

Now it looks like Del Potro will be back in time for the Australian Open, at least according to the entry list.

Del Potro won the 2009 US Open, and reached the 2018 US Open final. His comeback would be just in time for an Olympic year, which is fitting since four years ago he won silver in Rio.

He's also used his time off the tour to have some fun with his girlfriend Sofia Jimenez, recently going to Miami together.

Del Potro is ranked No. 123, but will get to use a protected ranking.
