Zverev enjoys Cabo with new girlfriend and Melo

For a precious few weeks in December, players get to enjoy a normal life without tennis. Maybe they sleep all day at home, enjoy a few days of vacations in Europe or the Maldives, or, in the case of Alexander Zverev, head to Mexico with a new supermodel girlfriend.

The 22-year-old took a vacation with Marcelo Melo and Brenda Patea, a fellow German and Zverev's significant other.

Yet Zverev isn't letting his love life interfere with bro time with Melo, recording a dance together for the third year in a row, this time on a boat.

Zverev and Patea have only been dating for a few months, meeting at the Paris Masters. Zverev was previously involved with Olya Sharypova, another model (there may be a pattern starting to form), but the two ended things in April.

For now, it looks like Zverev is happy.

He ended the year ranked No. 7 in the world after losing to Dominic Thiem in the semifinals of the ATP World Tour Finals.

Zverev is looking to move into the second week at the Australian Open for the first time; he has yet to get past the round of 16 at the major. He will only play the ATP Cup as preparation for the first Slam of the season.
