Sloane Stephens is embracing the off-season, taking time to thank her mom, reflect on her 2019 season and hit the beach in Hawaii.

"As kids we often take our parents for granted," Stephens read. "But I want you to know how grateful I am for you everyday."

The world No. 25 penned the letter for the Uninterrupted, who also asked her to expand on this tweet.

Ahead of her preparation for the first Grand Slam of the year in Melbourne, Stephens is in Hawaii.
